OUR MISSION AND VISION
Who We Are
Public by Nature is a student-led campaign created at CU Boulder to protect Colorado’s public lands from privatization and overdevelopment. Our mission is to raise awareness about how privatization can threaten the places we hike, ski, and call home.
We believe public land means for everyone, not for profit. Through education, creative activism, and community partnerships, we highlight what’s at stake when access to Colorado’s forests, trails, and open spaces is sold off piece by piece.
Our campaign calls for preservation instead of destruction. Together, we can keep Colorado public, wild, and Public by Nature.
